Adherence

SupportHow to get help

Adherence keeps everything on your phone, which answers a lot of questions before they are asked — and makes a few others worth writing down. If what you need isn’t here, the form at the bottom reaches the developer directly.

New to it? How to use it walks through the loop, from the camera to the week’s score.

The free trial

The trial runs for seven days and starts when you log your first plate, not when you install the app. Everything before that — the camera, confirming a dish, describing your own, the receipt showing what a plate moved — works without the clock running, so an empty app is never locked.

Nothing is charged during the trial and Apple will not ask you to approve anything to start it. When it ends, the app asks once whether you want to keep it: a single purchase, not a subscription.

I bought it and it’s asking me to buy again

Open the app and give it a moment — it re-checks what you own with the App Store every time it comes to the front, so a new phone, a reinstall or a redeemed code usually unlocks itself with nothing to tap. If the purchase screen is still up, tap Restore at the foot of it. That asks the App Store directly, using the same Apple ID that bought it.

If it still doesn’t unlock, check that you are signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase, then write below and say roughly when you bought it.

Moving to a new phone, or keeping a copy

Your log lives on this phone and nowhere else, so deleting the app deletes it and no one can send you a copy. Profile → Your log → Backup exports the whole thing as a file you can keep in Files, iCloud Drive or anywhere else, and imports it back on another phone. The file carries your plates and your settings; it deliberately carries no trial clock and no purchase, so it cannot be passed around as a fresh trial.

I logged the wrong dish

Open Logs and swipe the row, then Remove. Plates come off one at a time, which is the way a mistake is usually made. There is no erase-everything button: deleting the app is what removes the lot, and it removes it permanently.

The score went down and I ate well

That is the app being honest rather than broken. The days you have logged stand in for the days you haven’t, so a day you have only partly logged reads as a light day and pulls the week down with it. Finish logging the day and it settles. Home’s “How this is scored” page shows the arithmetic with worked examples.

A dish is missing, or scored oddly

The app recognises a fixed catalog of dishes, and when none of them fit, Not found? Add yours lets you name the dish and its ingredients — it is scored from what you type and nothing else. If a dish you eat often is missing, or a score looks wrong, say which dish below and it will be looked at.

Privacy

Nothing you log leaves your phone. The full policy is on the privacy page, and the same text is in the app under Profile → Privacy.

Write to the developer

One person reads these. There is no account behind this form and no name is required; leave an email only if you want a reply.

Refunds and billing

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple, so anything to do with a charge, a refund or a receipt goes to them rather than to us: reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
